Associate Landscape Architect
Dean is a landscape architect and urban designer with over 30 years experience in environmental improvement, landscape design and contract management. After early work in London and New Zealand Dean became a team leader at Gillespies following which he headed the Landscape Architecture Section at Livingston New Town for over 15 years where he gained considerable experience in the design and implementation of a wide range of landscape projects including a comprehensive greenway system associated with the towns water courses, as well as office, commercial and road landscaping. He has a particular interest and is considerably experienced in the areas of detailed design and contract management.
With Urban Design Futures Dean has had been responsible for the design and implementation of landscape masterplanning, streetscape and environmental improvement projects in Edinburgh, West Lothian, East Lothian and North Lanarkshire.
